TOP GEAR!

The Mimic images are always well received.......

This card I made at Lisa's class, together with a box to place it in. I love the wide ribbon which has a beautiful sheen. Shabby Chic is a real favourite!

A card for a retired farmer - autumn colours, Tim Holtz papers and distress inks provide a vintage look and the baker's twine is a good masculine substitute for ribbon.
Happy Anniversary........
Did you know that the 7th Anniversary is the year of WOOL? And where does wool come from?.....

A Card for a new job - no prizes for guessing the type of job....

The Italian Job!
This card was made for a friend's 60th showing the place where the celebration was taking place - a beautiful view!

The town is near Pisa - the tag IS straight, the Tower isn't!!

This is a souvenier book I made for Isobel's christening..
Isobel's Christening!

Every page is decorated and shows a different photo from the big event..

Each page has a whole month, just like a diary....

IT'S CHRISTMAS!!
This card has flashing stars, operated by pressing the white pointsetia in the corner.....

An Art Deco card for a real Gent!...

Sunday 29 April 2012

I made this for an elderly relative using Vintage Chic papers and my new Memory Box corner die. I'm having so much fun with my new HappyCut, embossing and diecutting everything in sight!

I love Spellbinders!

I have been watching Sue Wilson with the new dies and I just had to make something. She is such an inspiration!
This one I made at Hayling Island using Creative Expressions papers and card. I really like the 'pretty steampunk' look.

My Fair Lady

This card I made for a colleague who is involved in amateur dramatics. The first musical she directed was My Fair Lady so this went down a treat!

A sad occasion

It's never nice to have to make sympathy cards and you're never prepaired for it so I made a selection of cards I hope I won't need for a long time.

Rock 'N Roll

Festival goers and pop fanatics love cards with a 'Rock' theme and I love the way I can jazz them up to suit the recipient.

Lets Face the Music!

I always enjoy making cards with a musical theme!

Zentangle

This card was made for a Challenge competition with the theme 'All you need is Love'. I have used the Clarity Wired Heart and the Dimension letter stamps.
All have been decorated using the art of Zentangle. I remember spending hours doodling like this as a child but I never knew it was an art form which had a name.
It's so relaxing - try it!

More Christmas Projects

I love using my Thomas Kinkade CD, the images are beautiful. My other great love is my Spellbinder dies which I have used on the Camels card and the green & red card (which also features 'Twas the Night Clarity Stamp).

Weeeee!!!!!!

This was one of my Christmas projects. To make the penguin slide down the hill just pull the tassle. It's always fun to make cards that actually 'do' something!

Encaustic Art

It's amazing what you can do with some wax and an iron!

I have never tried this art form before but the results are great. The best bit is never knowing how your picture will turn out!

If you don't like it you can always melt it down and start again, it only takes a few minutes to create a masterpiece. These are a few of my early efforts...
